Choose the right disposable mask

Feel free to breathe through a simple 1,2,3 selection

Selecting the appropriate respiratory protective equipment van be a challenge with so many factors to consider. With our simple selection system it is easy to make sure the disposable mask you choose offers the correct level of protection and comfort required.

1. Which protection factor suits your needs?

*APF – Assigned Protection Factor **NPF – Nominal Protection Factor

Classification explained
When correctly fitted by a wearer, an FFP1 respirator should reduce exposure to airborne particles by a factor of 4, an FFP2 by a factor of 10 APF/12 NPF and an FFP3 by a factor of 20 APF/50 NPF. Disposable respirators are additionally classified as NR non-reusable (marked NR). Non-reusable products are intended for single shift use only. Look for the R marker in the following pages; otherwise all RSG disposable respiratory products are non-reusable.

2. Choose a valved or unvalved respirator

Benefits of a valved respirator:
• Reduces exhalation effort
• Cooler to wear
• Stays comfortable for longer
• Less likely to mist up eyewear Benefits of an unvalved respirator:
• Lower unit cost
• Prevents the wearer from contaminating their environment

3. What style?

You can choose from our:
C Series Cup-Shaped, FS Series Flat-Fold and F Series Flat-Fold respirators or Special and Welding (flame retardant) respirators for specific applications.

All our masks have a nose clip for safe sealing.
